About Manor Farm Fruits

Manor Farm Fruits is situated in the picturesque village of Hints in Staffordshire, just 3 miles from Tamworth and 6 miles from Lichfield.

We are one of Staffordshire’s longest established soft fruit growers; the farm has been owned and run by the Clarke family for the last three generations. The family farm comprises 125 acres and is situated in the beautiful and picturesque village of Hints, near Tamworth in Staffordshire. We’ve been growing fruit for over 45 years and have supplied the major multiples for the last fifteen years. In addition to this, we are one of the few remaining ‘Pick Your-Own‘ fruit farms in the area, having first opened our strawberry fields to the public back in 1973! We’re delighted to see many customers who came as children with their parents, now returning with their own families or even their grandchildren!

We pride ourselves in growing fruit of the highest quality and grow a wide range of varieties of both strawberries and raspberries offering subtle differences in both flavour and appearance.

With a total of 55 acres of soft fruit, we have 12 acres of strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, and blackberries designated specifically for ‘Pick-Your-Own’. Having planted our very first strawberry plants back in 1972 we are one of the longest established fruit growers in the area, and are celebrating our 46th ‘Pick-Your-Own’ season this year

We pride ourselves in growing top quality fruit and providing a friendly service, in fact so much so, that many customers come back to us year after year – and some since 1973!

Ready picked fruit is also available throughout the summer and we supply a variety of local restaurants, hotels, farm shops, wholesalers and caterers. We’re sure you’ll agree that the mouth-watering and sweet flavour of English strawberries just can’t be beaten!
