When do you open for Pick Your Own Fruit?
Our fruit-picking season typically begins around mid-May. Opening dates can vary depending on the weather, so please keep checking our website and social channels for updates. To be the first to know when we open, sign up to our newsletter.
Do you charge an entry fee for Pick Your Own?

Tickets are available to purchase once released via our website. Please book online to secure your admission. If we're fully booked, we won't be able to accommodate walk-ins. You will save £1.00 per person when booking online in advance. Please be advised that we release our tickets in accordance to our fruit availability approx. one week before.
Do visitors need to pre-book time slots or tickets to enter the farm?
We advise to pre-book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

Is parking free?
Yes, parking is free. We also have allocated disabled parking spaces close to the admissions entrance. Please note that all vehicles and any items left inside them are left at your own risk.
Do you allow Dogs?
Dogs are welcome on the farm during our Easter events, Pumpkin Fest and Santa Paws, with a dog ticket available to purchase for these occasions.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted during our Pick Your Own season (mid-May to September) or during our December grotto experiences, due to the nature of the activities and for the safety and comfort of all visitors.
Do you offer onsite catering?
Yes, we have a couple of options available:
The Strawberry Cabin is a separate business from Manor Farm Fruits. For any enquiries, please contact them directly on 01543 483680.
Snack Van (peak summer dates) – serving burgers, hot dogs, bacon baps, chips, chicken nuggets and Halal options.
Snack Shack (located in our farm shop) – offering light snacks, ice cream, Gayton slices, hot and cold beverages.
Can I change my booking date or get a refund?
Unless you add Booking Protection at the time of purchase, we are unable to change your booking.
Booking Protection allows you to amend your booking to an alternative date and time within 48 hours of your original booking.
All bookings are non-refundable, so if anyone in your group may need flexibility, we strongly recommend selecting Booking Protection at checkout.
It's raining, can I still come and pick fruit?
Yes, you can still come and pick fruit even if it’s raining. We have strawberries and raspberries available to pick under cover, so you won’t be completely exposed to the weather.
Please dress appropriately for the conditions, as it can still be muddy or damp outdoors.
Just a quick reminder: we don’t offer refunds or move bookings due to rain, so if anyone in your group may need flexibility, we recommend choosing Booking Protection at checkout.
Do you host events?
Yes, we host a range of seasonal ticketed events throughout the year, including Easter, Pumpkin Fest and Christmas. Alongside these, we offer extra family-friendly activities during the summer months. For the latest updates and event announcements, keep an eye on our website and social channels.

Are all areas of our farm wheelchair accessible?
No, not all areas are wheelchair accessible.
Due to the natural terrain and the changing location of crops (because of crop rotation), accessibility varies depending on where fruit is being picked on the day. If you’re planning to visit with a wheelchair, please contact us in advance so we can advise on accessibility for that specific day.
Please note that wheelchairs cannot access the Nature Trail, Maize Maze or flower fields.
When does your fruit season end?
Our fruit season ends early September.
Can we eat the fruit while picking?
The short answer is no. A small taste is very different to eating your picked fruit before you have weighed and paid. We strongly advise you supervise children picking and wash your fruit at home before eating.
Do you grow vegetables?
No, we only grow soft fruit berries.
Do you take cash and card payments?
Yes, we take both cash and card payments.
Are there toilets onsite?
Yes, we have toilets, baby changing and disabled toilet on site.
