When are the Christmas events running?
Santa’s Grotto is open on weekends and selected dates between 6th December and 24th December, from 09:30 to 16:00. All visits are by pre-booked ticket only.
Is pre-booking essential for the Christmas Grotto?
Yes, pre-booking tickets online is essential. We cannot guarantee entry without a pre-booked ticket, and general admission is not available on event dates without a Grotto booking.
What does the time on my ticket actually mean?
The time is the start time for your visit to see Santa in the Grotto. Tickets are sold in 15-minute blocks, so your actual visit with Santa may be slightly later than the exact time printed.
How early should we arrive for our Santa Grotto slot?
You are welcome to enjoy the farm from 9:30 am. We recommend allowing at least 30 minutes after arriving at the farm to walk from the entrance to Santa's Woodland Grotto, taking time to enjoy the journey and activities on the way. Do not join the queue for Santa until your ticketed time.
Do adults and babies/toddlers require tickets?
Yes, all individuals, including accompanying adults and children under two years old, require a pre-booked ticket. Pricing for adults, essential companions, and children under two is listed on the booking page.
Do children with a Manor Farm Membership get free entry?
No. Child Memberships do not offer free entry for Christmas event dates. Members receive a heavily discounted ticket price, but still need to pre-book and pay for a specific Christmas event ticket to visit.
Can I change my booking date or get a refund if the weather is bad?
Unfortunately, Christmas Grotto Experience tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to a different date or time once purchased. The event runs rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.
Can I bring my dog for Christmas events?
Santa Paws is a special addition for 2025, allowing dogs (with a ticket) to meet Santa Paws in the Cosy Cabin. Check specific booking rules for pet-friendly sessions.
Is the grotto accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Most areas are accessible, but outdoor paths may be muddy or uneven. Check specific information when booking if you have mobility needs.
What are the closing times over the Christmas period?
The farm is typically open daily from 9:30 am during the event. We close early on Christmas Eve (usually 2:00 pm) and are closed entirely between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, reopening in early January. Always check the specific year's dates on our website.
